You got to meet Mrs. Copperpot in the beginning of this storyline, now I want you to get to know her husband Herbert.
Enjoying Casually Employed? How about adding it to your Ink Outbreak comic list?
Aw, Mrs. Copperpot is such a sweet and caring old lady. I want to give her a hug!
As for Herbert, he’s not gonna let Clive mooch!
Do they live in a duplex, Bill? Also, I think it’s supposed to be “losing” and not “loosing”. Great strip! :O)
Thanks for the correction Joseph!
And yes, they live in garden apartments that happen to be a duplex. The reason for that will be reviled in a latter storyline.
It says Losing not Loosing. I think Joseph is seeing things he he he…
I need to find a rent free place that has free food
They’re the best!
Yeah, I’ve been thinking about moving back to my parents’ house with my wife and three kids. I wonder what she’ll say?!
Tell her you got the idea from me. Don’t worry Joseph, I’ll take the heat!
How do we know Clive’s not taking advantage of her?
The new site design kinda distracts my attention to the comic. Did you recently upgrade WordPress?
Their relationship will be detailed in a future storyline. I wanted to include her in this one to make the variety of characters in this storyline a little more rich.
And yes, I’m currently migrating from Comic Press to Comic Easel. Everything should be close to normal within the hour. I hope…
Inspired by the detail. Slip longer than dress, Coffee machine and mug, Car parked crooked, interlacing fingers, Did I mention Coffee machine and mug? You make we want to fire up my comic strip again..
Glad you liked it Carol!
I’ve left out background details in many comics because I was worried it might be too distracting from the word balloons. Who knows? Maybe in the future you’ll see a plant on top of Mr. Nistad’s filing cabinet.
Poor Clive, everybody needs one!
It’s nice to know he has someone watching his back.
Free food and no rent. Sounds just like home!
It is the life!
Sometimes it’s so hard to get them out of the nest. Then they come back in anyway.
But it’s so warm and cozy in the nest.
I prefer the womb. That’s why I’m always in the fetal position sucking my thumb
Aww, I love this lady
Mrs. Copperpot is the best Landlady anyone could have!
I’m waiting for the Mrs. Copperpot inaction figure!
Complete with coffee cup grip!
Seems like Herbert isn’t as sympathetic as errrr… we don’t know her 1st name
The answer everyone has been wondering about surrounding the mystery of Mrs. Copperpot’s first name will be reviled in Friday’s update.
Sounds like the same deal I had when I was living at home working. Clive doesn’t know how good he has it.
If ignorance is bliss, then Clive lives a very blissful life!
