I approve of anyone that wants to follow me on Twitter!
Now it’s going to get really confusing!
He’s black, He’s Mr. Black, He’s Tyrone, He’s Keith…
Just keep your notepaper handy!
Ha Ha! Clive’s logic is all screwy!
Yup, his logic sure is screwed!
‘Cus that’s important to get their approval. Otherwise your a bad person. That’s why I don’t call anyone by any name, just “Hey, you!”
PJ, you just inspired me to write another gag. Excuse me while I bring up my Word Document…
It’s hard to feel sorry for someone who’s being racist! And yet I kinda do. I guess it’s because he’s so pathetic!
Chris, you just gave me the best compliment!
This is exactly how I was hoping people would interpret this story line.
Well, here’s another one, Bill. You’re comic is really well written, so I suspect most people are reading it that way! Oh, yeah, funny too!
Thanks so much for that Chris!
I’m pretty proud of my comic. But as you know, without seeing people read it in front of you, it’s hard to be certain what they really think of it.
I totally know what you mean, Bill. It especially doesn’t help when you realize that most of your friends and family aren’t even bothering with it! Well, hopefully you don’t have that problem!
I have a small family but, I believe only two have ever been to this website. Oh well, not everyone reads comics.
And to their defense, I’ve never asked them for photographs of their office building!
Ha ha! Good point, Bill!
Less said, best said, Clive!
OOhhh…. I like that Mark!
Ahh, so its only OK with their approval? Haha, great post.
And thanks for commenting!
I thought he was being formal by calling Mr Black Mr Black. I really like the glance exchanges between Keith & Daniel in the last panel. They say so much without saying a word. I think the word Dimwit is definitely in the glance exchange
“I thought he was being formal by calling Mr Black Mr Black.”
All part of my long plan there Tony!
A long term plan?
Wow you are so organized Bill. I usually don’t think that far ahead. I usually just make up my storylines as I go along.
I enjoy writing. So when I come up with a gag, I write it down in a Word Document and name that file based on the theme of the gag. This way whenever I come up with a gag, I have a specific file to place it in. It also works with the various story lines I’m working on. When I’m about to start a new story, I read all the gags in that file from start to finish and make whatever alterations I think need tweaking.
I have a lot of stories already planned out because from the day I decided to start a comic, it still took me a year to finally get it online. So I did a lot of writing that year.
Haha! The best kind of racist!
It’s not a good thing to be racist. But if you are going to be, at least try to be politically correct about it!
That’s quite a dilemma. Now he has to figure out another way to approvingly insult Mr. Black.
That would be one nasty trial and error session!
Someone needs to rethink their way of thinking.
He’ll think about it.
I always insult people with their approval… Or at least with their ignorant head-nodding.
Sorta like saying bad things to a dog but saying it in a friendly fun tone. You can say the worst things about them and they’ll love ya to death for it.
As a black guy who has had a number of friends from other races, I’ve learned that we could be cool like that to a certain extent, and joke with one another heavily, but there had to be good intentions behind it. I don’t think Clive meant any serious harm. He just felt like he was the ‘inside man’ on a cool joke. He’s more distressed that isn’t considered to be that ‘down’.
I’m a lot like Clive when it comes to the teasing. And I get teased as well. I just try to remind myself to keep it in moderation. Too much teasing of the same topic becomes a theme. That’s when it becomes offensive.
